The Polygyros Archaeological Museum houses exhibits from all over Chalkidiki. In the museum’s spaces, it holds three permanent exhibitions: one with findings from the most important archaeological sites of the prefecture, one with findings from the three colonies of Andros in Chalkidiki, Stageira, Akanthos and Sani, as well as the exhibition of the Lambropoulos Collection.
The Folkloral museum of Corinth was founded in 1976, in order to locate, maintain and exhibit folkloral material. The extended collections contain women’s and men’s outfits from many parts of Greece, as well as other handicrafts.
The museum is housed in the same building as the old Venetianturkey Headquarters Complex, which was within the perimeter of the Venetian castle, which was strengthened during the Turkish occupation.
The Megara Archaeological Museum opened in 2-4-2000 to house the antiquities that come from the digs of the city and the surrounding area.
