The program starts with a quick (30-40 min) theory lesson, where the trainee will get some basic knowledge about scuba diving and the equipment required for the rest of the program. After that we get equipped and start a confined water training followed by a controlled beach dive with a diving instructor. The dive duration is about 45 minutes and the maximum depth is 6 meters. A unique fun and adventurous experience and the easiest way to discover the sea world that anyone can try.

NOTE: This is not a course that certifies a person as a diver.

SSI Scuba Diver

Scuba Diver is a short course, 2-3 days, that certifies someone as a diver, but not as a full open water diver..

Scuba Diver is the perfect course for those who do not have time to complete an entire Open Water Diver Program. The content of this program represents about half of a complete scuba diving certification program (SSI Open Water Diver). You can then complete the second half and become a certified diver at another time, anywhere that is convenient for you.

At the end of the program you will receive your Scuba Diver Certificate indicating the successful completion of this program. This certificate entitles you to take part in dives under the direct supervision of a Dive Professional up to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet all over the world. When you decide to complete your Open Water Diver certification, the Scuba Diver Program can be fully credited to your training. This way you will not have to redo any part of the program twice. After a short skill update you can complete your Open Water Diver rating.

Kori

Kori is a small rock in the middle of Hersonissos bay. This is an easy and long dive up to a maximum depth of 12 meters that makes it suitable for all levels. It’s about 8 minutes by boat and dive time is about 45min.

Saint George 1 & 2

Named after the small church close to the site. The site offers 2 dives.

First dive is from 6 to 12 meters depth following a wall and includes a small cave and a gorge. It is suitable for all levels.

Second dive is from 12 to 18 meters depth. It is suitable for all levels but not advisable for the very beginners.

Amphorae reef

Easy dive up to 12 meters depth that follows a small reef. It’s about 5 minutes by boat and the dive time is about 45 min. It is a mixed rock, sand and sea grass (posidonia) terrain where there are pieces of ancient pottery scattered along the site.

Posidonia garden

Easy dive for all levels. Maximum depth is 11 meters and dive time about 50 minutes. A small reef with various sea life similar to Amphores site.

Messerschmitt airplane wreck

Messerschmitt is a WWII German airplane that is lying on the sand upside down. It is very well preserved except from the tail that is missing and the engine propeller which a bit away from the airplane. You can see one of its machineguns and the ammunition. Most of the times there is also a big grouper and a moray eel residing at the site.

The site is for advanced level divers since maximum depth is at 25 meters.
