In the museum you can find exhibits that cover the times from 8th century BC to 2nd century AD. The exhibition is housed at the old Mayor Manor, a building of the 19th century. It is a two storey building with four exhibition areas.
The Patras Archaeological Museum is nowadays one of the city’s milestones, as well as an exhibition space rich in exhibits, with the most current museological views.
The museum Crete chemistry, is in operation since 1996 and is hosted in building the State Laboratory of Chania.
The Fortezza (Fortezza) is the Venetian castle in Rethymno, which dominates the hill of Palaiokastrou, almost into the center of the old town.
