Southernly Rethimno, between [Plakia] and [Prebeli] is found “[Karabos]” a elongated gulf of roughly 100 meters that takes shape between big vertical rocks creating a well protected natural small port that leads to a small beach with sand, width of 2 meters.

There found shelter at the Byzantine period the pirates, that gave and the name in “Karabo” and in the old days at the mythology are the part that Odysseus been charmed from the beauty of place but also queen I cover, it remained there for seven years front it returns in Ithaca.
